LYFTYLYFE is an athletic apparel brand that blends streetwear and gym life into a stylish fashion statement.
Despite having top-notch reviews and a loyal customer base, the brand's online discoverability was significantly lagging behind.

When LYFTLYFE came to us, its founder was looking to increase organic presence in the short-to-medium term with a smaller allocated budget.
By fixing the technical SEO foundation of the website and tailoring a “less-is-more” strategy aimed at boosting low-hanging-fruit product pages, we managed to increase the businesses’ non-branded organic traffic fivefold—boosting sales and providing more paid ads data.

The Challenge

LYFTLYFE's goals provided a challenging task for our team:

Find ways to establish a digital footprint in a highly competitive industry, with a fraction of the budget of most notable competitors.
The medium-term project had clear goals—increase and maintain organic traffic, thereby boosting online sales and creating a sustainable, cost-effective channel that would support and synergize with its paid advertising efforts.
This meant a two-way focus:

a) Conduct a thorough technical check-up to make sure any on-page and off-page SEO effort will perform without any backend bottlenecks

b) Think of a creative, out-of-the-box SEO strategy to position the client among high-authority competitors by building up low-competing product pages

The project boiled down to these key goals:

- Technical check-up and fixes that provided Google's crawlers with a healthy sitemap.

- Identification of low-hanging fruit that are ripe for the breakthrough on the SERPs.

- Optimizing product pages.

- Creating Topical Map around the product pages that will boost the website's authority on said products.

- Producing supporting content for the product pages.

- Engaging in purposeful link-building as a supporting signal for Google.
⚙️ Technical Audit
The brand's website - built on Shopify - required a deep dive to fix structure, product categories, internal links, broken links, orphan pages, and more. This would enable Google to crawl seamlessly and understand the domain better.
🏋️ PRODUCT-FIRST SEO
Optimizing product pages and create supporting content that would serve a two-fold purpose—drive organic traffic on their own; and strengthen the topical authority of the money pages.
🔗 PURPOSEFUL BACKLINKS
We initiated a targeted backlink acquisition campaign, focusing on establishing partnerships with reputable sites in the gymwear and lifestyle sectors. This not only improved the website's domain authority but also drove referral traffic and increased brand credibility.

By targeting high-intent users who were looking for specific product - and letting the conversion-first product page do the work - LYFTLYFE saw an increase in organic conversion rate.
Following the implementation of hyperfocused e-commerce startegy, LYFTLYFE experienced a surge in non-branded traffic, helping them compete with the likes of Walmart and Gymshark for organic visibility.
Finally, the acquired traffic data could also supplement the paid advertising strategy and ease up some of the paid search budget.
